Protect Your Home

With everything that has been happening in my home, I thought it was important to share the below from Nate Johnson’s blog in case you are experiencing similar. May we all be on alert and do what it takes to protect those that are important to us.

A few weeks ago, I woke up in the middle of the night from a dream. In the dream, the windows of a house were left open, and an intruder was trying to get inside. I woke up in a mild panic and began walking through my own home, making sure every single window and door was shut, the lights were off, and the house was secure.

As I walked back upstairs to go to bed, I suddenly felt the presence of God. I knew this was spiritual. It wasn’t just a bad dream. It was a prophetic sign.

The Lord began to show me that He is calling many believers especially families, into a greater level of spiritual alertness for the hour ahead. He is calling us to fortify and reset the foundations of our homes. To protect our marriages, our children, and our livelihoods from the subtle and strategic attacks of the enemy who comes like an intruder to rob and destroy.

The Scripture says in 1 Peter 5:8, “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” This was the verse that came to my heart as I asked the Lord what He was saying. I felt strongly that the Lord was showing me how targeted families have become in this season.

Many homes are under spiritual fire.

There have been a wide range of attacks over the past six months, and especially recently. Why? Two reasons. First, because the enemy sees that family will be the vehicle of revival and reformation in the days ahead. Second, because we are entering a time where revival will be birthed not through organizational structure, but through genuine connection, authentic family, and spiritual community.

Right now, God is strengthening His people. He is leading families into a season of deliverance, healing, and the rebuilding of spiritual walls around homes and marriages.

I believe that for many, attacks have come from every angle to deplete your home, shake your marriage, scatter your family, and wear you down. But the Lord is saying, “I am restoring all of it.”

We are still in a season of migration and divine repositioning. God is resettling families into new, fresh places, physically, spiritually, and emotionally so they can step back into prophetic promises that were laid down or lost in past seasons.

This word is for those of you who have felt the attacks on your homes increasing this year. Attacks on marriages and relationships. Attacks on your children. Attacks on your finances and provision. Attacks on your peace. Sickness, spiritual heaviness, anxiety, torment, chatter, and even witchcraft...
