A few days ago, I released a word about the family being the target of the enemy in this hour and I feel today’s word is an extension of that.


THE FIRE ALARM


About three months ago, we started weekly prayer meetings in our home. We felt a clear leading from the Lord to build an altar of prayer in our house, not just in our personal devotional lives, but as a family. Within five minutes of praying, our smoke alarm suddenly went off. It disrupted the entire meeting as I scrambled to find batteries and reinstall them before the sound stopped. Two weeks later, it happened again almost in the exact same way.


The Lord began to speak to me through this because a fire alarm is designed to awaken you, warn you of danger, and call you to take immediate action. Joel 2:1 comes to mind: “Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on My holy mountain.”
